- Let's say your artificially sweetened "diet" drink has 50 calories. Multiply (50 calories X 365 days per year) = 18,250 calories per year. Now multiply 54,750 calories x 2 (lunch & dinner) = 36,500 calories per year simply from diet soda and drinks!
Let all those calories sink in. Digest them fully.
