Usually from 5 to 20 minutes long, a panic attack may be triggered by stressful circumstances or it may occur unexpectedly.

Yoga is a great activity for you to reduce stress and to aid in the relaxation of your mind and body. Your yoga instructor will show you how to breathe deeply through your nose in a standing position, allowing the air to flow in and out in a manner that calms the mind and invigorates the body.

Then reverse the process returning to beginning, come back to touch your toes, then stand upright, and reach your hands up in the air. This type of breathing is soothing to the mind and body and is a good way to combat anxiety.
